Your lawyer

Our firm currently consists of 6 highly-focused lawyers. You can find detailed information about each of them in the menu on the left.

Our lawyers are sworn-in under statute at the District Court of 's-Hertogenbosch. This means your lawyerthat we are officially registered on the roll of Dutch lawyers at all District Courts in the Netherlands and are competent to conduct proceedings at all Dutch District Courts and Courts of Appeal.

The oath for Dutch lawyers, which all our lawyers have sworn at the District Court, states: "I swear (promise) fidelity to the king, obedience to the constitution, respect for the judicial authorities and that I shall neither advance nor defend any cause that I do not in all conscience believe to be just."

Our lawyers were entitled to be sworn in because they satisfy specific statutory requirements, including the requirement to have successfully completed a legal training at university in Dutch law.

As members of the Dutch Bar Association (Nederlandse Orde van Advocaten) all our lawyers are subject to the Dutch Advocates Act. This act imposes further regulations for the conduct of our profession, such as the organisation of our financial administration and compulsory professional indemnity insurance.

Our lawyers have to comply with specific codes of conduct. They are also required to participate in continuing professional education each year and this forms part of the annual review by the Dutch Bar Association.

Our lawyers are subject by law to a duty of professional confidentiality. We cannot be forced to give evidence as witnesses regarding information that you entrust to us in our professional capacity.

Our lawyers work together intensively as a team. This means that together we can efficiently take on and process many cases. We discuss our work and developments within our specialist fields with one another on a daily basis.
